The 2007 Half Marathon Triple Crown series kicked off with the Carlsbad Marathon and Half Marathon. The series continues with the La Jolla Half on April 22, 2007 followed by the America's Finest City Half Marathon on August 19, 2007 rounding out the series.

Course Details

The Marathon and all of its accompanying events start at the Westfield Shoppingtown Plaza Camino Real in Carlsbad. After the starter's gun goes off, Marathoners will head for the coast passing the Buena Vista Lagoon through the village of Carlsbad to Carlsbad Boulevard (Highway 101). You'll head south on the 101 to Palomar Airport Road (PAR). After a 3 mile trip inland on you'll return to the coast and again head south on 101 to a quick U-turn near La Costa Avenue back up the cost to the finish line.

The Marathon course is rolling. Much of it is along the beautiful Pacific Ocean. The highest point of elevation is 308 feet above sea level reached gradually between miles 5 and 9.

Complete all three and in addition to a huge sense of accomplishment, you'll earn a gorgeous Triple Crown medal at the America's Finest City Half Marathon finish line.
